Law 1: Everybody will remain at rest or continue to move with uniform velocity unless an external force applied on it. It is also know as ‘Law of Inertia’.

What is frame of reference?

What is inertia?

The property due to which a body remains at rest or continues its motion with uniform velocity is called as Inertia.

What is inertial frame?

Law 2: When an external force is applied to a body of constant mass, the force produces an acceleration, which is directly proportional to the force and inversely proportional to the mass of the body.

Law 3: When a body ‘X’ exerts a force on another body ‘Y’, then the body ‘Y’ exerts an equal and opposite force on ‘X’.
